1970 – 89 Corvette Horn Contact Carrier Retainer – With Tilt And Telescopic Steering Column #563022
This plastic star shaped retainer/insulator snaps over the column upper shaft lock ring, snaps into tilt-telescopic column lock plate and covers hub attaching nut. It has to be installed with the reliefs right side up, or the retainer will not snap on.
This is used in most 1969-1990 GM cars with telescopic steering columns, including Chevrolet, Cadillac and Oldsmobile.
